All rights reserved Huawei Technical Support Website of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. reserves the right to modify the following rules. 1 Operation Principles 1.1 Maintain the nature of technical communication; 1.2 Adopt the Credits method, and follow the principle of justice, openness, and common improvement, 1.3 Reward the participant contributing to forum development; 1.3.1 Primarily spiritual reward, and secondarily material reward; 1.3.2 The spiritual reward is rewarded in flexible form, and the material reward is rewarded primarily in the form of Huawei souvenirs or Huawei maintenance documents CD; 1.3.3 Reward separately Huawei Engineer, Huawei Partner Engineer, and Huawei Equipment User. 1.4 Use the Technical Forum as an important source of maintenance experience; 1.5 Use the Technical Forum as the channel to collect the information and improvement opinion/suggestions for the website; 1.6 Follow the principle of good faith. 2 Rules of Credits 2.1 Terms and Definitions Administrator: Person with administrative authority for a certain sub-forum. Poster: Issuer of a thread. Top: Listing of more important article at the top of Post List by the Administrator. Closing Credits: Credits granted to the replier by the Poster when his thread has been replied. Post Transfer: Transfer of thread posts and replies to other sub-forums. Typical: Post with representative or directive content, assessable only by the Administrator. Credits (also called Available Credits): Sum of Initial Credits, Expert Credits, other Reward Credits, and Posting Reward Credits (negative). Expert Credits: Cumulative appraisal Credits granted to a replier by the Poster or the Administrator. Available Credits (also called Credits): Credits available for posting reward; Posting Reward Credits must not be greater than the Available Credits; and the posting is not allowed in case of negative Available Credits. 2.2 Difference between Credits and Expert Credits 2.2.1 Credits (also called Available Credits) in the Forum: Sum of Initial Credits, Expert Credits, other Reward Credits, and Posting Reward Credits (negative). The Initial Credits of each Forum User are 10000 Credits; Expert Credits are added to Credits; and Posting Reward Credits are deducted from total Credits when closing a post; 2.2.2 Expert Credits: Sum of Credits granted to a replier by the Poster or the Administrator when solving the problem or participating in the discussion. Expert Credits reflect the technical level of a Forum User and his contribution to other Forum User ; and Expert Credits must not be deducted but only be added. 2.2.3 Expert Credits are primary index of reward assessment, total Credits are its secondary index, and the contributions of other types are its reference index. 2.3 Rules for Credits Addition/Deduction 2.3.1 The Poster is liable to give reward credits for any posting and close in time the post after solving the problem. The Poster is liable to share the schemes and methods of problem solution at Post Closing.
2.3.2 The Administrator reserves the right to force the Closing of any post unclosed for a long time and the modification of Posting Reward Credits (maximum 500 credits by the Administrator) for any post un-granted reward credits for a long time; 2.3.3 At the Post Closing, the Poster can add a certain Reward Credits to the replier as necessary, the replier will obtain Available Credits and Expert Credits equal to the added credits for the Poster, and the Poster is deducted by Available Credits equal to Reward Credits; 2.3.4 Reward Credits must not be negative, the Poster must not add credits to himself at Post Closing, his total added credits must be equal to Reward Credits, and the post without any reply must not be closed; 2.3.5 When a Poster summarizes actively and issues the directive and generally referential post, the Administrator can directly add some credits to this Poster; When his post is listed into Typical, the Poster is added by 100 Available Credits; 2.3.6 Any poster of accepted suggestions for Huawei Technical Support Website and its documents system is rewarded by 100~500 Reward Credits of Available Credits. 2.3.7 Any Forum User participating in the activities (such as online survey) of Huawei Technical Support Website and qualified for its promised credits-adding conditions is directly added by Available Credits. 2.3.8 Any poster of meaningless text and picture/attachment beyond technical specifications is punished with public warning in the Forum Management column for his first such activity, and with both a deduction of 1000 Available Credits and a listing into Black List for his second such activity; 2.3.9 For any Forum User participating in various improper credits-accumulating activities (such as credit accumulation by violating relevant regulations or mutual arbitrary credits addition), the Administrator and Super Administrator notify the persons concerned, and directly deduct Available Credits of such participant by 2~5 times of susceptibly-involved credits. 3 Black List & White List System 3.1 Any Forum User of frequently posted and accepted opinions and suggestions for function improvement and website documents of Huawei Technical Support Website will be added into the White List; and any Forum User posting more than 10 articles or having more than 6 handled articles is directly added into the White List; 3.2 Within the service time promised by Huawei Technical Support Website, the Website User in White List enjoys the priority handling service for various affairs (such as website use, account deferment, password inquiry, and free documents application); 3.3 The Website User in White List has an opportunity to preferentially experience the newly-added function of Huawei Technical Support Website. 3.4 Under the same conditions, the Website User in White List has the reward priority. 3.5 Any Website User violating the regulations of Huawei Technical Support Website is added into the Black List; 3.6 The Website User in Black List is not qualified for reward. 3.7 Both Black List and White List are added at any time, and the Website User in Black List can apply to be excluded from Black List only after three months. 4 Other Rules In order to guarantee the serious and strict style of Technical Forum of Huawei Technical Support Website, only the Forum Administrator can use personalized name, and any other Website User must use his real name. 5 Huawei Technical Support Website reserves the right to interpret any matter not mentioned herein.
